The armed gunmen broke into the house of former Seattle Seahawks Richard Sherman with his family inside at that time, according to Video that shared on social networks of its residential security cameras.
The King County Sheriff’s office said the robbery occurred just after Sunday, which was Sherman’s 37th birthday.
“House being stolen at gunpoint with my family, it’s not what nobody wants for a birthday gift,” Sherman said. “Fear situation that my wife masterfully handled and kept my children safe. If anyone has any information that can help find these people, communicate.”
Police said theft is still an open and active investigation.
