The singer Angie Stone has died at the age of 63, according to the representative of the deceased star.
The artist was involved in a fatal car accident at dawn on Saturday in Montgomery, Alabama, after a performance in the city, said Stone representative, Deborah R. Champagne.
Stone had acted in Montgomery on Friday night and was scheduled to travel to Baltimore for a part -time performance at the CIAA conference.

The nearby friend of Stone and former bandmate, Gwendolyn “Blondie” Chisolm of the sequence, identified her body in a Montgomery hospital, said Champagne. Chisolm did not travel with stone at the time of the accident, according to Champagne.
